The following rules relate to Quidditch teams and matches.

Match schedule

Upcoming matches are scheduled on the calendar.

Qualifying to play

Before the match
The two team captains will be PMed two weeks before the match by the Quidditch group and need to confirm that their team is ready for the match. If a confirmation PM isn't received one week before the match, the co-captain will take the place of the captain.

During the match
Character's who don't post within the first 48 hours of the match will have their position filled by an active subsititute. It is up to the team captain to organise a substitute.

Joining a team

Teams are selected by their captain. The following conditions must be met before applying:

  • post count of at least 200
  • registered member for at least 8 weeks
  • only one Quidditch player per member

Captains

Captains are chosen by Admin. Team captains should:

  • make at least one post per week (in any board)
  • ensure they have a complete team in time for a scheduled Quidditch match (see Calendar)
  • arrange at least one training session prior to each Quidditch match and notify Admin when it's complete
  • manage team membergroup and team list

If these requirements aren't met a new captain will be chosen in time for the next match.

Captains can add and remove members from their team here.

You should PM your application to the team captain. See the 'teams list' (above) for available positions.

The rules are frequently revised, particularly after a match. Please be sure to check for changes before the next match.
