Characters

Character name

The following restrictions apply to character names:

• canon characters (characters from the Harry Potter series) and their relations or descendents are not allowed
• names from other books, films, games etc are not allowed

Character types

All new characters must be 1st year human Hogwarts students. Staff applications are announced when new staff members are required. The following character types are not allowed at HPHavenRPG:

• centaurs
• pixies
• elves
• vampires
• half human, half animal characters
• other non-human characters
• Royalty (approval required from requests site)

If you have any questions about a particular character type, please submit a request via the requests site.

Birthdays

Character birthdays are recorded in each character's profile. All birthdays are also recorded on the Birthdays? page.

It is each member's responsibility to inform a moderator when their character's birthday has passed so that their character's age can be updated.
