Character Sorters

Moderators

The following members are involved in sorting new characters:

• Professor Block
• Professor Bradshaw
• Emily Hargrove
• Liam Hawes

Responsibilities

Character sorters are responsible for reviewing new character profiles and sorting new characters into Hogwarts houses.

Character sorters review profiles for the following before approving a character:

• all sections of the character profile template are completed
• sufficient information (at least 2-3 sentences) is provided for each of:
  • physical description
  • character personality
  • family background
• requested abilities are reasonable or have approval via the requests site

If a profile requires updating before a character can be sorted, a Character Sorter will send the member a PM explaining why the profile cannot be approved. The member will be added to the "Modify own character profile" membergroup while they update the profile.

Contact character sorters if...

• Your profile was posted more than 48 hours ago and has not been sorted or you haven't received any request to update your profile
• You want to update your existing character's profile
